Grand County's eastern border runs the length of the Continental Divide beyond HWY 34, which meanders through the Rocky Mountain National Park at the intersection of Milner Pass (10,758 ft).

The dramatic, beautiful views of  the peaks that we see from the Great Lakes area, Granby area and Winter Park Valley areas are  in the Arapahoe National Forest and Rocky Mountain National Park.

THE NIGHT SKY in March is full of wonder, here are a few events to watch for:

March 8th  Daylight Saving, set clock ahead one hour
March 8th  Saturn in Opposition
March 27th Venus in Inferior Conjunction
March 30th Mercury in Superior Conjunction

Venus continues to entertain us but diminishes end of month. Saturn then takes the stage, Jupiter shines in the morning if you look carefully, you will see a faint Mercury and Mars in the low Sky.
