It was touch and go for a while but I am happy to report winter has finally arrived! It has been snowing the past few days with more to come so get up here and enjoy the holiday with us! Winter Park Resorts Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade is one of the most beloved Winter Park traditions. Enjoy caroling, hot chocolate and Santa starting at 3:00 in The Village.Then move over to the base of Winter Park Resort to enjoy carolers and prepare for this stunning parade! At 5:30, a procession of torch-bearing skiers and riders begin their way down Lower Hughes Trail, followed by Santa Claus and his merry helpers. A spectacular fireworks display light up the slopes to conclude the festivities. December 23 and 24 jump on the slopes and take a few turns with Santa at Granby Ranch then after the holiday escape to their Winter Wonderland and enjoy festive activities and winter treats daily. Why not stay a bit longer and ring in the New Year with Granby Ranchs New Years Eve Party or Grand Lakes Spectacular Fireworks display. Organized activity or some good ole fashioned family time we would love to share our white Christmas with you.

Most outdoor enthusiasts have their go-to trail. The one that they ride/glide/run/walk where they don't have to think about where they're going. They can get lost in the woods, without actually getting lost and visiting the trail is akin to a comforting visit with an old, trusted friend. For me, that trail is Blue Sky in Winter Park.
