Wow here is a great update on the success of the BYOB CAST Challenge â the tallies for March and April are in and participating retailers tallied 41,048 plastic bags that did not make their way into circulation during those months. Pretty impressive numbers! In relation to the other participating communities, Winter Park, Fraser and Granby are looking great: Aspen--21, 545 Basalt--41,941 Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte--2,166 Eagle--17,604 Edwards--865 Estes Park--16,259 Grand Lake--809 Gypsum--2,408 Jackson Hole, WY--20,492 Ketchum, Hailey and Bellevue ID--7,700 Park City, UT--50,304 Silverton--384 Summit County (Dillon, Frisco, Silverthorne and Breckenridge)--94,820 Telluride/Mountain Village--9,556 Winter Park, Fraser and Granby--41,048 Other big news â the prize of $5,000 toward the purchase of solar panels for a local school has been doubled thanks to PCL Construction. Thanks again to everyone who has participated or supported the BYOB CAST Challenge efforts. Check our website rewinterpark.com or the the town of Winter Park for updates as new tallies are entered:
