Winter Park Resort Open for Summer - by Erin Jeziorski

The Winter Park Resort opened its summer activities this past weekend and there is fun to be had for the whole family. For you mountain bikers, the Trestle Bike Park is now open offering beginner to difficult terrain. FYI the resort has a bike rental shop on-site. Specific trails are also designated for hiking on the mountain. Be sure to ride the Arrow Lift to the top of the Alpine Slide. The Alpine Slide features a slow and fast track. And if youre lucky, you will see a marmot peeking its head over the slide on your way down. Other great activities open all summer long are disc golf, mini-golf, the human maze, an outdoor and indoor climbing wall, the GyroXtreme, leaps and bounds bungee, and a scenic Zephyr Chairlift ride. So grab your friends and family and head up to Winter Park for some fun in the sun activities that will be sure to put a smile on your face!
