The Winter Park Ski Train is back, for now....by Erin Jeziorski

Many people were disappointed to find out that the ski train that offered round trip travel between Denver and the Winter Park Resort had been sold and literally moved to another location in Canada after 69 years in operation. It has been announced that Chicago-based operator Iowa Pacific Holdings wants to take over the service. Union Pacific Railroad has agreed to let the company use their tracks between Denver and the resort. Plans are now being finalized with Amtrak. So all aboard.... The the ski train has been revitalized for the 09/10 winter ski season.
