Winter Park Celebrates the New Year - by Sarah Ryan

Come celebrate the end of 2009 with some high country fun. Spend the day skiingthen head to Hideaway Park where there will be family fun activities from 7-9pm in the Hideaway Snowzone including free sledding, rail skates, hot chocolate, human bowling, and warm firepits with fireworks going off at 9pm. Great fun for the whole family! If you would rather bring in the New Year, blues style! Grand County Blues Society is having its New Years Eve Celebration at 490 Steak House and Tavernin Silverado ll Resort and Event Center. Great food, company and dancing music with champagne toast. Featuring Chicago's most rockin' blues bands, Nick Moss and the Fliptops.
