Oh my goodness if you are one that likes to get outside and have some fun; like most of us that love to be in Grand County do you need to check out geocaching. You can either purchase a pre loaded GPS device which is great for kids or have your own GPS. If you are in Winter Park and want to try this out the Winter Park ski resort rents GPS's just for caching. Noah, my 8 year old was given a pre loaded gps by Santa this year and the family ended up spending most of our vacation geocaching Florida. It was lots of fun and a great way to get outdoors with the family. Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment.
