Let's Get Recycling in Grand County! - by Katie Riemenschneider

If anyone is interested in finding out more about what options there are inGrand County for recycling dont be fooled there are many. A new group Grand Resource & Recycle Coalition which was formed around 8 months ago is trying to put the word out. If you have any questions Jean Wolter or Katie Riemenschneider would be happy to assist they both have been active with the coalition. We are now working on getting a possible free drop off service in Fraser or Winter Park. But of course you can take your recycling to Valley Recycling for free, their facility is located in Parshall. And or pay approximately $7.00 a drop at the new Transfer Station in Granby. We dont want to leave out Jessie with Curbside Recycling which many of us use. He charges a small fee to pick up every other week at your front door and he services Winter Park, Fraser, Tabernash, Granby & I believe Grand Lake.
