Bank Owned Properties in the Granby, Grand Lake and Winter Park Areas as of September 10, 2010 - by Jean Wolter

We've seen the number of Bank Owned Listings in the Winter Park, Granbyand Grand Lake areas increase in the past month to 53! There are some incredible deals available. Winter Park Area Listings: In the Winter Park area the number of bank owned listing went up to 19. Prices range from $157,000 for a 1 acre vacant lot in Leland Creek to $1,650,000 for a 7,100 sq ft log home in Lakota.  The most exciting value to note is Coyote Creek in Tabernash. The bank finally took over the project and listed 8 duplexes and homes. One is already under contract! Prices start at $229,000 and go up to $345,000. Granby area Listings: In the Granby area, the number of bank owned listings increased this month from 17 to 23. You can get a great deal on vacant land in the Granby Ranch and Grand Elk areas with prices starting at $8,900! There are a few condos and townhomes also listed, a couple of notable deals are a 2 bedroom, 2 bath at River Run is available for $164,900 as well as a 1 bedroom, 1 bath at Aspen Meadows priced at $84,900. 4 homes have gone under contract in the past 30 days in downtown Granby. A luxury townhome, 2288 sq. ft., in the Village at Horseshoe Creek closed for $250,000 as well as a 3000 sq. ft. home in downtown Granby that sold for $127,050. Grand Lake area Listings: Currently there are 11 active bank owned properties in the Grand Lake Area. There is a large assortment of homes and cabins listed from $117,000 to $275,000. There are still some vacant lot values with prices starting at $22,000! 3 homes located in Grand Lake area went under contract in the past month.
