Ice Hockey Rink in Fraser, Colorado expected to be ready by Thanksgiving. - by Sylvia Hensley

The new ice hockey rink is expected to be ready for skaters by Thanksgiving. The recently formed Fraser Valley Hockey Association announced the new rink at the Fraser Valley Sports complex is near completion. With the new facility open the FVHA plans to start hockey leagues for youth and adults, with youth teams being formed in January of 2011. Adults programs will depend on interest. To determine interest, two meetings have been scheduled. The Youth Hockey meeting is scheduled Nov. 18^th at 6:30pm and the Adult Hockey meeting is on Nov. 19^th at 6:30pm. Both meetings are being held at the Fraser Valley Recreation Center Conference room.The association is in need of coaches for the youth programs.
