Spring is just around the corner, and Winter Park is the only place to be this March! The Winter Park Competition Center is hosting some of the biggest races in America throughout March, including the Nature Valley NASTAR Nationals and the U.S. Alpine Nationals, the best race of the year! This is your chance to get up close and personal with the U.S. Ski Team and the top racers in the country! Hosting events of this magnitude is certainly no small feat. Races of this size and importance require many months of advanced planning, hundreds of people working together, and a great deal of effort from everybody involved. In order to produce the high standard of racing that Winter Park is known for, we rely on the help of our intrepid volunteers, our top notch Competition Center staff, and one of the best Race Crews in the industry. This is your opportunity to reserve the best seat in the house! Watch as the top alpine professionals whiz by your position from only feet away! All while earning free lift tickets!! NASTAR Nationals March: 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, & 27 US Alpine NationalsMarch: 28, 29, 30 (setup/training) March 31, April 1, 2, & 3 (Race Days) Volunteers who can stay to work for all four race days during US Alpine Nationals will receive a special 2011 US Nationals gift! They will also be able to keep their laminated credentials at the end of the event, on top of earning free lift tickets that are good until the end of next season! We need a lot of volunteers for both NASTAR and Alpine Nationals, so if you know of any friends or family members that would like to participate, please let me know.
