Even though Winter Park continues to get some spring snow showers the grass has started getting green, flowers are coming up andwe anxiously await dry mountain bike trails. In the mean time our local organizations like the Winter Park/Fraser Valley Chamber of Commerce, Winter Park Ski Resort, Grand County Blues Society, Pole Creek Golf Course, Granby Marina, the Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce (just to name a few) are gearing up for a summer of music, bike races, food and beer festivals, sailing, and more. One thing I love to do in the summer is to head over to Grand Lake, eat at one of their restaurants, like O a Bistro, and then take in a play at the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater. www.RockyMountainRep.com. This summer you can catch Disneys Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls, Chess The Musical and Almost Heaven, Songs of John Denver (were definitely seeing this one!). Many of their performances sell out so I recommend getting your tickets in advance. This year RMRTs all-star company and actors will be performing under a new roof. Their new home is set to open June 10^th with greater sound, spectacular lighting and stadium seating.
