The land is a beautiful mix of open valley surrounded by old and new growth of lodge pole pine, aspen, and some spruce, with breathtaking views of the Continental Divide from numerous lots. Val Moritz Village is a residential subdivision where one-acre +/- lots, coupled with a maximum dwelling square footage of 3,500, will assure the land will dominate the landscape, and the wildlife will have room to roam. Val Moritz Village is conveniently located between Grand Lake and Winter Park and bordered by Granby Ranch. The Sol Vista Ski Basin is adjacent to the subdivision, and the Sol Vista cross country skiing trails also run alongside Val Moritz Village. The Snow Mountain Ranch trails are accessible via the newly completed trail culvert under Highway 40. The Granby to Fraser trail is on-site, and the Headwaters Golf Course is nearby. Located in a secluded valley, early morning and evening walks will usually include sightings of deer, grouse, rabbit, elkan occasional moose, and a variety of hawks. Val Moritz subdivision includes roads, power, natural gas, cable (high speed Internet) and phone. Many of the lots in the newest phase have exceptional mountain and valley views. Val Moritz Village was one of the first subdivisions platted in the area.
