The Rotary Club Dedicates its Comedy Night to Kimberlee Nanda - by Shanna Lalley

The Winter Park-Fraser Valley Rotary Club is presenting another Comedy Night at the Winter Park Resort on Saturday, February 18, 2012. We are dedicating this show to Kimberlee Nanda. The Nanda family has been friends of our club for many years. They generously donated their theater in Winter Park for our first fundraisers. We are going to make a donation to the family to help them defray some of the expenses as they deal with Kimberlees health issues. The Granby Rotary Club is joining us in presenting the show and wishes the best for the Nanda family. The show is once again produced by Comedy Works of Denver. They always bring us great talent. This year is no exception. The headliner is Jolly Demis. True to his namesake he is a considerable talent who plays guitar, sings and does comedy for his show. Bob Meddles is the opening act. He is a local talent from Arvada. He won the 2007 Clean Comedy Contest in Denver. We are lucky to have these two fine comedians in our show. The evening will start with a cash bar at 7 PM in the West Portal at the Winter Park Resort. Free food tastings will also be available from local restaurants. The show will start at 8 PM and will last about 90 minutes.Tickets are $25 each and will be available at the Winter Park Resort, the WPFV Chamber of Commerce, Grand Mountain Bank, Beaver Village Lodge and Millennium Bank. Proceeds from the show will go to many local charities that provide for Families and Children in addition to our gift to the Nanda family.
