The Hideaway Bistro at Silverado II - by Katie Riemenschneider Happy belated Mothers Day to all those mothers out there! Speaking of Mothers Day, my family took me to a restaurant we have not been to since the new ownership this past year and it is located in Winter Park. They advertised music and a Mothers Day specials yesterday so we decided to give it a try. I have to say we were truly impressed. "The Hideaway" is a great name for those of you that have been around Winter Park andknow thegreat reputation that name has. The Hideaway Bistrois located in Silverado II a condominium complex 2 blocks from Wolf Park and a short walk from any place in downtown Winter Park. Silverado II has some great units for sale at amazing prices right now too anyone looking for a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. The restaurant has been open by the chef that was at Granby Ranchs 7 Trails Grill. He did an excellent job in Granby Ranch but decided he was going to branch out and open up The Hideaway in Winter Park! Lucky Winter Park! Please support them while they will be open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday this summer from 4-9. They offer a kids menu and kids game room free of play, not coin operated video games, nice job Silverado II.If I can offer a recommendation, the pecan crusted trout was outstanding and the prices were super reasonable!
