2013 marks the High Country Stampede Rodeos 30th season. The rodeo is held every Saturday night in Fraser, Colorado. This weekend on August 17th will mark the last rodeo of the season. The fairgrounds have covered stands so the rodeo is held rain or shine and doors open at 4 PM. Locals and visitors come to the Fraser Rodeo grounds to cheer on the mutton busters and calf scrambling contestants. Tickets for adults are $10, children age 6-13 tickets are $8. Tickets for seniors age 62+ are $8 and children 5 & under are free. Food and drinks are available for purchase at the watering hole. Tickets are available atHigh Country Stampede Rodeoafter 4pm. Or you can buy tickets at the Winter Park/Fraser Valley Chamber of Commerce located in downtown Winter Park. Directions to the Rodeo: From Winter Park, travel North on US40 to the stop light in Fraser. Turn left and go under the RR Bridge, taking an immediate right. Travel until the road Ts and turn left. Travel about a mile and you will see the arena on the right.
