Life here in Winter Park, Colorado is part hard-work and part vacation. We are a major ski resort located just 67 miles west of Denver, but on the western slope of the Continental Divide. Our ski resort, Winter Park Resort, offers some of the best skiing in North America. We definitely have some of the best and most consistent snow in the country. Those of us that work here do work hard, honestly! Even if you come to visit us in our office and we may be sitting in our mountain biking clothes, we really have been working! But we can also slip out on our lunch hour and take advantage of over 600 miles of mountain biking trails. We love dogs, snow shoeing, mountain biking, skiing, sailing, good food, great restaurants, free music in the park on Thursdays in Winter Park/Tuesdays in Fraser, music festivals throughout the summer and our successful Art Affair event that showcases artisans from around the country. If you dont believe me, check out some of these blogs.
