National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. In that spirit, on August 1st from 5:30pm to 10:00pm at Polhamus park in Granby, the Granby Police Department will be putting on our first ever National Night Out event with the assistance of; Grand County Sheriffs Office, Grand County EMS, Grand County Search and Rescue, Grand Fire Protection District and Granby Recreation. There will be multiple events including; a hot dog picnic sponsored by Mountain Parks Electric, City Market and Coca-Cola, a root beer float tent, bounce house, volleyball, sidewalk chalk drawing, human hungry-hungry hippo, an outdoor movie, and more! All events are free and everyone is invited!
