Annual Holiday Artisan Fair - by Julie White

Come and join us! Saturday, November 18th, 2017 from 10am to 4pm is the Annual Holiday Artisan Fair at the Grand Park Community Rec Center. This is a FREE event open to everyone featuring unique art and crafts from regional artisans. There's usually everything from hand made candies, chocolates, jewelry, knit scarfs, pot holders and so much more! My Grandma (aka Grammie) works all year to sew her embroidered towels, pot holders, baby blankets and bibs and this year she is bringing back the beloved cupcake potholders! So stop by and say hello when you see Grammie and I'll there and my Mom helps a little, too... well a lot. They also have Visits with Santa Claus from 11:30-1:00 in the lobby and a gift raffle, too. This is really a great event and a good place to do some Christmas shopping for unique gifts!
