If youre looking for a challenging trek, this hike is considered strenuous with a round trip distance of 7.5 miles and a 347-foot elevation gain for a total elevation of 9,945 feet. Be sure to wear solid hiking boots if you embark on this journey as you will run into a few obstacles. Emerald Lake Trail

A popular hiking area, the Emerald Lake Trail is considered easy with a moderate distance of 3.5 miles roundtrip. At the beginning of the trail, youll notice a sign for the Bear Lake Loop. From here, hikers can continue towards Emerald Lake, running into several alternate routes leading to other lakes.
